The educational tour organized by KENNEDY HIGH the global school for the students of class VI-X/Grade 6 to 10, during the Dussehra vacation was an enriching and eye-opening experience. The duration of the tour was from 14 October to 18 October 2023.
On day 1, the tour began with visits to the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Museum, exploring aviation history, where the students learnt about the history and technology of aircrafts and their functions and the Visveswaraya Industrial and Technological (VIT)museum, dedicated to engineering brilliance, in Bangalore. From there they checked into the beautiful Bangalore hotel.
Day 2 started early in the morning as the entourage left for Mysore on the most amazing and fun bus ride as everyone let their hair down and indulged in dancing and playing games. Then they visited the gorgeous summer place (Tipu Sultan Fort) and delved into history.
On reaching Mysore, the group visited the equally exquisite but rather crowded Mysore palace and St. Philomena Church where all attention was on the fantastic architecture of the church. The last stop was a visit to Brindavan Gardens where the scenic beauty, fountains and flowers took everyone’s breath away.
The destination for day 3 was Ooty and after another enjoyable bus ride from Mysore to Ooty, the group was treated to Botanical Garden’s lush greenery and Ooty lake’s tranquility. Then came the time to explore and shop on the colourful streets of Ooty before the tired but happy travelers retired to the hotel.
Day 4 found the excited group ascending the Doddabetta Peak to be greeted with a breathtaking view. Then they explored the tea and chocolate factories, learning a great deal about their production and manufacturing process. At night they journeyed back to Mysore and stayed at the hotel.
On Day 5, the group headed back to Bangalore where the day was spent having fun at “Wonderla”, an amusement park offering thrilling rides and entertainment.
Then the tour group boarded their flights and headed home to Hyderabad with amazing memories in their hearts.
As per the feedback received from the students, the flights, travel arrangements and accommodation provided were comfortable, punctual, and hassle free. The school staff ensured that students were safe at all times and kept everything well-organized.
This memorable experience, shared with friends, brought the students immense joy and filled their hearts with gratitude for getting this opportunity.
