During the first week of Dussehra, students from class VI-X/grade 6-10 of KENNEDY HIGH the global school, embarked on an unforgettable educational tour to Udaipur, visiting some truly iconic and culturally rich places.
On Day 1, the students strolled through the serene garden of Saheliyon-ki-Bari, which gave them a glimpse into the ingenuity of royal designs.
Day 2 was spent exploring the grand Chittorgarh Fort, where the students time-travelled back to the era of Rajput warriors.
On Day 3, they marveled at the elegance of City Palace and explored Shilpgram, a haven for traditional and handmade crafts, where they all shopped while exploring the creative sector of Udaipur.
Day 4 was dedicated to Akshardham, an architectural marvel and the abode of Lord Swami Narayan, and later, they were treated to the splendour of the water show in the temple of Akshardham.
Day 5 was the highlight as the students stood in awe before the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue.
On the final day, they visited the intricate Adalaj Stepwell and also soaked in the history of Sabarmati Ashram, and finally, ended the trip by admiring the beauty of the Atal Bridge riverfront.
As per the feedback received from the students, the trip was packed with fun moments, with teachers being their pillars of support throughout, meticulously handling every detail—from transportation and accommodation to meals—ensuring that all the students were comfortable and cared for at all times. They reported that they felt secure throughout the journey, whether they were exploring historic sites or relaxing at the hotel.
Overall, the trip was an extraordinary blend of learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
