WONDERS OF THE WILD

Students of CIE, grade 1-5 were taken to the Nehru Zoological Park in the third week of December, 2024. The zoo, renowned for its rich biodiversity, houses a wide variety of animals, birds, and reptiles in their naturalistic habitats.

The students began their tour by exploring the animal enclosures, where they observed majestic lions, playful baboons, towering giraffes and the prickly porcupine.
The reptile house was fascinating, showcasing crocodiles and snakes.

The bird aviary captivated the students with its colourful parrots, macaws, parakeets, owls and flamingos.

They also learned about wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting endangered species. The experience not only deepened their knowledge of animals but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards nature.

It was an exciting and educational trip that brought the students closer to nature, imparting valuable lessons.
