LITERARY AND CULTURAL FEST – “KALANJALI-2022”

 KENNEDY HIGH the global school hosted “KALANJALI-2022”- a Literary and Cultural Fest on 5 November 2022.

Chairman Sri. S. Jamala Reddy, the chief guest for the event, was escorted to the dais by the Head Boy and Head girl with a floral tribute.

Students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school sang a melodious prayer song which was followed by an enthralling classical dance to welcome the guests, judges, teachers from other schools, the participants and the audience.

In his welcome address Chairman, Sri. S. Jamala Reddy emphasized that participation in such creative pursuits adds a new dimension to one’s personality and winning or losing is temporary. He gave his blessings to all the participants and declared the event open. The assembled audience of excited participants from 9 schools who went on to participate in 6 events, burst into applause. Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat also shared her thoughts on the importance of such competitions and wished the candidates all the best.

The 6 events were conducted in different rooms with two judges and only the participants.

Students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school were on a wining spree and bagged prizes in all categories.

The first prize in CRAFTASTIC (Best out of waste), Category A went to Anvi Singh. The second prize was taken away by Sree Shiva Medhansh of DAV Public School, Kukatpally and the third prize went to T. Manaswi from Vikas the Concept school.

In Category B, SWARA SUDHA (Group singing), the first prize was taken away by KENNEDY HIGH the global school while the second prize was won by Vikas the concept school and the third prize went to DAV Public school, Kukatpally.

Category C, NUPUR (Group dance) saw students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school bagging the first prize with Hindu Public school coming in second and DAV Public school, Kukatpally taking away the third prize.

In Category D, KALAKRITI (Draw & paint), Saanwi Dewangan of KENNEDY HIGH the global school won the hearts of the judges and took home the first prize while the second prize was won by Rama Chinmayi Reddy of DAV Pubic school, Kukatpally and the third prize went to Anshul Bommidiwar of KENNEDY HIGH the global school.

Under Category E, ABHIVYAKTI (Kavita Vaachan), Shreyanjali Mishra of KENNEDY HIGH the global school won the first prize, Vihaan Tyagi from Vikas the concept school took the second prize and the third prize went to Akshaj Sangal of Ganges Valley School.

In Category F, TALK THE TALK (Extempore), the first prize was bagged by Bhavya Jain of KENNEDY HIGH the global school. The second prize was won by Jignaasa Kotti, also from KENNEDY HIGH the global school and the third prize went to Inaganti Sahyasree of DAV Public School, Kukatpally.

The judges were also felicitated and Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat personally thanked them for taking time out from their busy schedule to attend the event as a judge.

We congratulate all the winners  from our school for keeping the KENNEDY HIGH flag flying high.
