KENNEDY HIGH REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND THE IC3 SUMMIT 2023

The school counsellor and three Senior Secondary teachers from KENNEDY HIGH the global school attended the IC3 summit, hosted by The Sri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad on 24 June 2023.

The concepts of SED, highlighting the need to sensitize, elevate and develop the function of counselling in schools and TRE-the training, research and events being conducted by IC3.

This year’s theme is “Finding purpose through counselling” and the speakers at the summit reiterated that emphasis is to be on competency and not competitiveness.

The speakers discussed topics such as,” The counselling laboratory pedagogy”, “Cost of counselling,”, “Greatest challenges of schools”, “Impact of counselling in schools”, “Building employability skills” and “Career integrated Pedagogical plan”.

An interactive session with a successful entrepreneur was also held which gave the participants an insight into e-waste management business with a focus on Sustainable Development goals.

One eminent speaker presented a case study highlighting a new approach she is using in her institution to make learning fun.

All in all, the sessions were very informative and an eye-opener for the participants.
