INDUCTION OF THE NEW STUDENT COUNCIL AT KENNEDY HIGH

The Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council of KENNEDY HIGH the global school for the academic year 2023-24 was held on 19 July 2023, wherein 44 students were sworn in to carry forward the legacy of the school. The event aimed to officially induct the newly elected council members and instil in them a sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment to serve the school community.

The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Chairman Sri. S. Jamala Reddy, the Guest of Honour, Managing Director, Sri. M. Subba Reddy and Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat. The ceremony took place in the school’s auditorium. All the HODs, Class In-charges, Coordinators along with the students from Senior secondary wing joined in to witness the ceremony as the new office bearers took up new roles and responsibilities as young leaders.

The ceremony commenced on time with the entire assembly standing in respect as the national song was sung, showcasing the unity and pride in being a part of the nation.

Following the national song, Chairman, Sri. S. Jamala Reddy, accompanied by the Managing Director, Sri. M. Subba Reddy and the Principal, Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, hoisted the school flag, symbolising the school's ideals and values. This was followed by the soulful rendition of the school song by the talented school choir, instilling a sense of belonging and pride among the students.

The highlight of the ceremony was the honouring of the newly elected Student Council members. The Chairman, the Director, and the Principal adorned each council member with sashes and badges, signifying their new roles and responsibilities. This gesture emphasised the trust and belief bestowed upon the student leaders to lead the school towards excellence.

In a solemn and dignified manner, the Head Boy from CBSE led the entire council in taking the oath. The oath reflected their commitment to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, and empathy while serving the school and its students with utmost dedication.

In his speech, Chairman Sri S.Jamala Reddy inspired the students to come forward, join hands with solidarity and celebrate their leadership. He called them the voice, hopes and dreams of the country and encouraged them to redefine leadership in the present times and blessed blessed them to be healthy, happy and succeed in life.

Principal, Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat delivered an equally inspiring speech, encouraging the student leaders to be visionary and lead with compassion and determination. She emphasised the importance of teamwork, responsible decision-making, and being role models for their peers.

The Head Boy and Head Girl from both the CBSE Wing and the Cambridge Wing addressed the audience, expressing their gratitude and eagerness to contribute positively to the school's growth. Their speeches exuded confidence and determination to work together as a united team.

The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by the newly appointed Sports Captain. The Investiture Ceremony of KENNEDY HIGH the global school for the academic year 2023-24 proved to be a significant event, fostering leadership skills and a sense of responsibility among the student council members, serving as an inspiration for the entire student body to strive for excellence and contribute to the school’s growth and success.
