KHGS celebrated 71st Republic Day with pomp and grandeur. The school cabinet members welcomed the dignitaries. They escorted Chairman Sir and Principal Madam to unfurl (hoist) the National flag, followed by our National Anthem sung by school choir and a march past by the security contingent of the school. Chairman Sir, in his address highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future the country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country. Cultural programme including a patriotic song and a dance performance was showcased to awaken the spirit of patriotism. Speeches by students also threw light on the precious contribution of our great freedom fighters. Everyone took a pledge to uphold the honour, integrity, dignity and uniqueness of our Nation.
