On the 9 of July, the students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school, Bachupally celebrated the 29th Annual Van Mahotsav, with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with pearls of wisdom, from our respected Chairman Sir, on the value of this festival and the importance of planting trees. His speech inspired everyone to be responsible and take initiatives to create a sustainable and green environment. Following that, was a soulful dance performance by grade 8 (CAIE), depicting the importance of trees. A thought-provoking skit was next performed by class VIII (CBSE) in Hindi, that enlightened us about how planting trees and caring for them is essential and awakened the consciousness of the audience well by adding a tinge of comedy. Wrapping up the celebrations,’ Chairman Sir, Principal madam and Vice-Principal (CAIE) planted saplings in the school ground ensuring an even greener environment. Later on, the members of the Students Council accompanied the teachers to distribute saplings at the Bachupally crossroad. This act assured that “The Kennedians” lived up to the slogan: ‘Each one, teach one to plant one’.
