The English teachers of the CAIE wing attended an English workshop on 12 November 2022, which was conducted by Mr. John D’Souza. He is the Director of the English Advantage, is an authorized centre for Cambridge English Exams in India and he trains teachers and students in schools, to take proficiency exams in English that are mapped to the CEFR (Common European Framework Reference for Languages) The workshop gave insight into Cambridge English Qualifications (from A1 to C2 Proficiency). These exams are conducted to test all four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing). The workshop helped the teachers comprehend how to develop skills and confidence among students and lay the foundations for future success. The teachers were also trained to teach English and prepare students to write these exams accordingly.
