NURTURING ANIMAL HABITATS
A habitat is a place where animals and plants naturally live and grow. To reinforce the concept, Grade 2 children from Cambridge wing of KENNEDY HIGH the global school explored school surroundings to know the various habitats of different animals. Well equipped with tools like magnifying glass, they were taken to the park, garden area and play area to observe tiny creatures that dwell on trees, in the grass and in the bushes. The children were delighted to observe the myriad flora and fauna around them. At the end of the day, students were ready to build a replica of a snail habitat, as part of their experiential learning.
